The snow came late this year. Usually we get some snow in October, a bit more in November, and then a whole lot in December. But, this year although there was some snow in November, it was very little and didn't stick to the ground at all. Then, one day we woke up to a foot of snow on the ground. It stayed cold after that so it didn't melt and then a few days later another half foot was added to what was already on the ground. Ten days later we still have all that snow everywhere, even though it hasn't snowed again.

At first the boys were very excited but now they have no interest in going out in it. It has pretty much been below freezing this whole time and so it isn't fun being outside feeling like your skin is being eaten because the air is so cold.
