Learning how to speak...

I love listening to Luke and Thomas speak and pronounce difficult words as they learn new ones. Sometimes they struggle with the same word and sometimes different words. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Muck instead of Milk
  • Gool instead of School (But you have to say it like an Afrikaans "g")
  • Why instead of Water (Although they can say Water, they mostly say Why instead)
  • Then when they drop some food at the table onto the floor, they say "Charlie get it." They now drop food they don't like, pretending to do so by mistake, onto the floor and then exclaim, "Charlie get it!"

Thomas also says

  • Pah-teh instead of Temple (he is just switching the two syllables)
  • Cinnamon instead of Stephen
  • Muggies instead of Music
  • Moomies instead of Movies
  • Ketchit instead of Ketchup

Luke also says

  • Perpy Dupper instead of Peanut Butter (which sounds very similar to how he says Poopy Diaper)
  • Semen instead of Stephen
  • Dugga instead of W
  • Ketchutch instead of Ketchup
