Huckleberry picking

On Saturday we went Huckleberry picking with some members of the branch. Huckleberries are very similar to blueberries, but look like a red-purple color (instead of the blue-purple blueberry). They taste fairly similar too. Picking huckleberries is a very Montana thing to do. Everyone does it every summer! Anyway, we drove to this very remote area which was covered in huckleberry bushes. It was fun, although fairly tedious because they are small and most branches just have a few on them. We were there for an hour and only picked three Ziploc sandwich bags full. We'll be making milkshakes with them. Yum!
