Solid food for Abigail

Abigail was showing the classic signs that she was ready for solid food. So, since she is nearly five months old, I figured I'd let her try some. I first gave her some rice cereal, which she LOVED. Well, "loved" is an understatement. She grabbed the spoon and sucked it till there was nothing left on it and then wouldn't let go. She ate and ate! I didn't give her too much at first though.

Then, in the evening I thought I would try her with some homemade apple sauce. She showed the "unsure face" again which cracks me up. Then, it was clear she did not like it. But, every time I gave her a spoon on it, she ate it. I only gave her three spoons before I gave up but it had me laughing for quite a while, thinking about her facial expressions.
