Little Goat

Some neighbors got a goat a few days ago. Yesterday I was sitting in our backyard watching the twins play outside in the swimming pool and I heard what sounded like a little child crying "help!" It made me really worried because it went on and on and on. Eventually I went to ask the neighbor what she thought it might be and she told me it was a goat. I was relieved it wasn't a child, but boy, is that sound annoying because it just doesn't stop.

Today I took the boys to see and pet the goat. Thomas kept referring to it as a lamb: "Does this lamb have a tail?" "Does the lamb have eyes?" and so on. The goat loved the attention and wanted to follow us home afterwards. It was amazing to see her eat just about anything, including little dried leaves.

Stephen kept his distance from the goat, but with a bit of encouragement gently petted him. The twins followed it about the whole time and she seemed to enjoy it.
Right before the goat kissed Thomas on the mouth.
