This past week has been glorious! We've had fairly high temperatures (70s and 80s) for mid-March, but I have loved it. So have the boys. We have been outside from first thing in the morning until bedtime (due to daylight savings beginning a week ago it is now light until just before they go to bed at 8pm). They have played in their sandbox and with their toys outside and sat on the swing in our backyard and kicked balls and so on. We have also made several trips to the park with various friends from the neighborhood.
This week sadly it will be cooler again (high of 39 on Thursday) but that is what spring is like. Some warm days and some cold days. I can bear the cold when I have several warm days thrown in.
So just after dinner one day the boys went outside again to play in their sandbox. It was warm enough for them not to have shirts on! Anyway, I didn't bother cleaning them off after dinner because they were about to get in the bath and I knew they would get just as dirty by being outside. I then hauled out my camera and took a few pictures of them....the first time in a long time. (The freezing winter and my first trimester really made me not interested in taking too many photographs.)
