Since we got married Rob has always said that all he wants are (1) a fireplace and (2) a dog. Well, the house we bought has with a fireplace and shortly after we moved in, Rob got a dog, our chocolate Labrador Retriever, Charlie. In the winter time Rob likes to have a fire going pretty much every day. He likes the warmth and the sight of the fire, but also how it cuts down on our gas bill. Last winter we pretty much ran out of dry wood in the middle of the season and so this winter Rob cut down two very large trees that were posing a hazard to our house and has slowly been chopping and stacking the wood. In the image here this is a little over half of the wood. I reckon it will last at least 2 winters.
