Weird Winter

Usually Utah gets a lot of snow in the Winter time and it often even begins at the end of September. By the middle of December, we usually have had at least one large snow storm and the snow will be collected everywhere. This then continues on into January and part of February. Well, this Winter season has been different - we've had hardly any snow. We've had a couple days of snow fall but that is all. Very strange.

Luke and Thomas were at first fascinated by the snow until they fell in it. Then there were lots of tears. They have decided that they don't like the snow too much. The first real snow fall we had, where the snow actually stuck to the ground (in January) I dressed the boys up in their coats, scarves, gloves, snow boots, and so and sent them outside. They didn't really know what to do and just walked around in the snow, saying "snow! snow!cold!" I'm sure as they grow older they will begin to appreciate it more and enjoy building snowmen and so on.
