Halloween is a really fun holiday. Yesterday we went to a Halloween party at Kendra's house and the kids got to dress up for that. They ate Halloween treats and played Halloween games.

Then today we went to dinner (pizza) at the Nelson's house (our wonderful neighbors) and then went Trick-or-Treating in the neighborhood. I love how alive these streets become. All the lights are on and people are at every door and walking from house to house. It is so much fun! I also like it because the boys are so excited about it. They enjoy dressing up and getting candy.

| My cowboy, my clown, and my gorilla |
A long time ago when I asked the boys what they wanted to be, Luke said a clown. I had no idea how to organize a clown costume and I certainly wasn't going to pay $20 for one. I tried to convince him of other costumes that would be just as fun but he kept saying he wanted to be a clown. So I began asking around, but no one had one. I looked at the online classified ads for days, but nothing. One day I went to DI (Deseret Industries) and found a clown bow-tie. So I bought it. Then about a week later I went to Savers (similar second hand store to DI) and found the clown suit. I was so excited. Then a while later I thought I'd make another trip to DI and I found a clown wig. Luke was very happy with his costume.
