On Saturday Rob, Thomas, Luke, and I drove up to Salt Lake City to go check out the SL Cemetry. I've been wanting to do that since I arrived in Utah but have never got around to it. It was a LOT larger than I anticipated and although we walked around for a long time, we only covered a small portion of it. We were specifically looking for grave stones of famous people in Church history. Well, we found the following: Wilford Woodruff, Erastus Snow, James Talmage, John Tanner, Orrin Porter Rockwell, George Cannon, Heber J Grant, Matthew Cowley, Nellie Smellie Romney (we don't know who she was, but we liked her name!), and John Taylor.

| All Thomas wanted to do was sleep (on his stomach). He is asleep here. |

I was thinking when the boys are older and can read, it would be fun to give them a list each of famous names of people they have previously learnt about, and they can try find the grave stones of these people.

It was exceptionally hot already (at least 95 degrees F by 10am) and so we didn't stay for too long. The boys weren't enjoying the heat. There was a burst water pipe and so we let them play in the water for a few minutes to cool down.
Then we went to a wonderful restaurant in downtown Salt Lake called
The Himalayan Kitchen. It had a buffet (which we went for) consisting of Indian and Nepali food. My goodness but it was delicious and even the boys couldn't get enough food down their throats. We definitely want to go back at some stage.
We then went to visit Rob's friend Bill who is an older deaf man. He has a rather large dog. When Luke saw the dog he went running up to it and threw his little arms around it. The dog looked a little bewildered and went to hide. Every time the dog re-appeared, Luke would throw his arms around it. Thomas was a little nervous of a creature so much larger than himself. I think he prefers ducks!
