The boys aren't really all that good at taking a couple long naps during the day. They prefer to take many short naps - not my ideal though! I'm trying to change that but it is taking time. I am lucky, I suppose, because in general they will go down for a nap without too much protesting.
When they were born Sister Val Bibb and her daughter Des Belt came to the hospital and gave them two little fluffy toys: a white dog and grey cat. Well, Thomas loves the grey cat. A while back I just left it in the crib. Now, whenever he wants to sleep he hugs and cuddles his little cat. He will suck on it and talk to it and it keeps him entertained as well when he wakes up. I just went into their room to check on them and this is how I found Thomas:
Luke, on the other hand, finds comfort in sucking his thumb. He isn't too interested in fluffy animals although he does love the yellow and orange duck mobile that hangs over the crib and can stare at it for a very long time.
